Website hosting depends on servers, networks, software, content and customer responsibilities. These terms set out how the service is provided and where responsibility sits.
Website availability
We arrange suitable hosting and use reasonable endeavours to maintain website availability.
Customer content
Customers are responsible for the material that appears on their website.
Suspension rights
Access may be restricted where terms are breached, unlawful content is found or legal action requires it.
Cancellation
Hosting may be cancelled after the initial three-month period by giving one month’s written notice.
Sheridan Internet will arrange for the Client’s website to be hosted on an appropriate server so that it is available to people who access the World Wide Web.
Sheridan Internet will use all reasonable endeavours to maintain full-time internet presence for the Client’s website.
Sheridan Internet cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access and will not be liable for any failure to provide continuous availability.
Sheridan Internet reserves the right to increase the hosting fee by giving the Client one month’s notice in writing. In such an event, the increase will take effect from the start of the next invoice period.
Sheridan Internet reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to remove the Client’s website from our server and/or restrict access if there is any violation of these terms.
Sheridan Internet may also remove or restrict access if authorised or required to do so by a law enforcement agency, competent authority or applicable law.
Access may also be restricted if the website is found to contain inappropriate material.
The Client acknowledges and accepts that it bears sole responsibility, legal and otherwise, for the content of all material appearing on its website.
For the avoidance of doubt, this applies to all material whether posted on the Client’s website by the Client, on behalf of the Client, by Sheridan Internet or by a third party.
The Client has the right to terminate the provision of the website hosting service by Sheridan Internet after the expiry of the first three months by giving one month’s notice in writing.
Notice may be delivered personally, when it shall be deemed served on delivery, or by first class post, when it shall be deemed served 48 hours after posting.
